And Then There Were None book review
Just a few years ago, I read my first murder mystery, A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder, and really enjoyed it. Since then, I have become a lover of any type of murder mystery so when I was recommended the book And Then There Were None by Agatha Christie I wanted to read it. So now I will give my honest opinion on Agatha Christie’s And Then There Were None.
The book opens with ten people who were invited to an island by someone claiming to be a person each one of them knows. None of them know each other and, upon further inspection, the person inviting them is different for each and every person. Their host isn’t there to greet them either, only two servants who were sent to the island a week earlier, by an unknown employer. However, when they sit down for dinner, a strange message is played on the gramophone and shortly afterwards, one of them is found dead. Now nine people must find out who is the murder and get off the island before it is too late and there are none of them left.
I loved this book. It constantly keeps you on your toes and doesn’t give you closure until the very end of the book. This book was super interesting, and the plot was amazing. I don’t really know how to put my feelings about this book into words, but I 100% recommend it to anyone who loves a good murder mystery.
